One the thread about a meetup it occurred to me that for such meetups a t-shirt would be apt. We can wear the t-shirt to be able to recognise the group. Even if we didnt have a meetup i wouldnt mind "evangelising" with a tshirt.. spreads the word I guess

I would buy one if it was available online

of course same applies to full sleeve hoodies or pullovers or sweatshirts.. whatever they are called in your neck of the woods

ideas for the words..

Will have to give it a think but all that springs immediately to mind is,"where's the party?" - used to see that a lot - and " I' m with Stupid " and an arrow, which appealed to my childish side and made me laugh whenever i saw it!
I once had a teeshirt that i thought said" Guinness makes you fat " ( i was slim at the time of wearing!)
I could never understand why it made people go into shrieks of laughter til one day i looked at it properly and realised it actually said,"Guinness makes you fart"

:rotfl: :rotfl: Hubby would love that shirt CandiceMarie!
I once saw a man with a t shirt that read Instant moron just add alcohol That made me laugh. I can think of lots of people that should have that one, especially at office parties.
Maybe something with our mantra, "I can have it tomorrow". Would work for all types of fasting, we would all know what it means, and it would certainly make others wonder what the heck?

Or, "Today, I'm in Repair Mode".
I like "I can have it tomorrow"

But this thread title reminded me of a really cute tshirt one of my kids had as a baby. I think I got it at the thrift shop.

On the front it said "I LOVE TO READ"

and on the back "A LIKELY STORY"
On the front "Jam tomorrow"

On the back "But never jam today"

nice one
I can't get the picture to attach, but I love my "Fastinista" shirt from http://m.kohls.com/kohlsopenapi/product ... ID=1556504 you may have to chooseit, won't seem to go straight to that design.
I see that DrM's website is asking for people to vote on T-shirt slogans for fasting and are intending to print them up, so perhaps we should think of doing some ourselves too: we can't let them outdo us! I might have a word with Moogie and the team about how we could go about creating some official FastDay tees maybe.

I like that one!

The original quote from Alice Through the Looking Glass is I think "Jam tomorrow and jam yesterday but never jam today" (it was a reference to the use of the Latin word, iam, which means “now”, but only in the future or past tense, not in the present [which is nunc]).
Another thought: how about t-shirts for our non-fasting family members too? I'm sure we could come up with some witty slogans suitable for non-fasting, long-suffering OHs and kids/mums etc.

How about:
Please feed me...the cook is fasting today!
As well as a slogan do we need a logo? Fast Diet 5:2 has a logo from their book covers, Fast-5 has a logo, not sure about 16:8 (leangains) Eat Stop Eat etc? Is fastday.com getting a new logo of its own @carorees,pray do tell
@barbarita
Yes the logo is the one you can see in the yellow 'sticky note' in the top right corner! (the 'sun' and word/s 'FastDay'). Nice and simple! Although we're going with the sunny yellow theme, the t-shirts don't have to be bright yellow!!!
Eat, drink and be merry...for tomorrow we fast!
