I've already checked my train times!

I'm driving to the Wirral and catching Mersey Rail. Haven't been in Liverpool city centre since L'pool One was built! Big adventure for me!

WE will be staying with Mrs. H senior in Manchester so I only have to get the train from Manchester, yippeee I've never been to Liverpool before

It's come a long way since it was European City of culture, Ballerina. Too much to take in, in one day, especially if you're lunching wiv da girls!
Albert Dock (needs sunshine to see it at its best), the waterfront, the Cathedrals (I must go to the Anglican one soon, as there is a plaque to my Great Aunt, who was Matron of Liverpool Royal for many years and through the war), the shops... did I say shops?
