Please recommend some uplifting, motivating and positive vibe songs, tracks or pieces for my Mp3 player (or your iPod/pad).... :D
Fun - We are Young & Carry On. In fact most of the album, Some Nights is great but there are some swears. Great walking music.

Meatloaf - Album, Bat out of Hell.

Mika, Life in Cartoon Motion in particular the song Big Girls are Beautiful.

Neil Diamond, The Jazz Singer.

The Full Monty, music from the movie - makes me smile every time.

Tchaikovsky, Piano Concerto No 1 in B Flat Minor.

Bet you wish you hadn't asked now!!!

Brilliant question and I'll definitely be following the answers.
"Bet you wish you hadn't asked now!!! "

Nah... keep 'em coming! (but ColdPlay's "Fix you" is banned..) ;-)

Most of my playlists are Melancholic Extremis, sooo... all I can think of is
Britney Spears - Stronger
Argent - Hold Your Head Up
Booker T - Green Onions (you can smell 'em cooking)

Maybe there's a wish list too?
e.g
The Prodigy - I'm a Diet Starter, twisted Diet Starter...
Destiny's Child ~ Survivor
Christina Aguilera ~ Soar, Fighter, Keep Singing My Song
Pink ~ Perfect, Raise Your Glass
Beyoncé ~ Single Ladies, Who Run The World?

Great choices! I know some, listening to the others...
Big Country - In a Big Country?
Big Country - approved.

You want more?

David Bowie - Heroes
Elton John/George Michael - Don't let the Sun go Down on Me
Lou Reed - Perfect Day
Christina Aguillera - Beautiful
Led Zeplin - Stairway to Heaven
Jesse Rae - Over The Sea
Derek and the Dominoes - Layla
Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge over Troubles Waters
ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man
Ottis Reading - Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay
The Monkeys - Daydream Believer

Better let everyone else have their say.
"You want more?"

Yes please, 'cos I keep playing NIN's "Hurt" and can't quite make up my mind on that one, but the box of kleenex is nearly empty

So: perhaps Siouxsie And The Banshees - Happy House?
Oh by the way...

"Ottis Reading - Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay"

Great choice! Cowritten by Steve Crooper (of BookerT & MGs)
and

The La's - There She Goes

Always a sunny day song :-)

Metallica - When a Blind Man Cries ....perhaps not :-(
Bach/Busoni: "Nun komm der Heiden Heiland"?
8-) The proclaimers/500 miles

Thought of a good 'un

Anastacia - left outside alone ( best wishes to A)
Some excellent songs there..........I take it Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds doesn't fit the bill.

If you want The Proclaimers then it has to be I'm On My Way...from misery to happiness, aha!
You shook me all night long - acdc
God gave me everyhting - M Jagger plus Lenny Kravitz
Pour some sugar on it - def leppard
build me up buttercup - the foundations
Get in the ring - guns'n roses
Rhythm of life - sammy davis jr

Great songs being suggested here!

I've moved the thread into non-diet chat as motivational songs can be motivational for anything! :-D
