I'm back!

I’ve had a few weeks off of the fasting. I haven’t totally lost the plot as I have been following the Keto diet so weight has gone down. Give or take the water weight that will go on as I re-introduce carbs I think I will have lost about 3-4lbs in 2 weeks.

Am planning one fasting day this week and then two next week. Hope everyone is doing great xx

Welcome back! How did you find the Keto diet? What were your reasons for doing it? (not criticising just wondering ;-))

Personally for me it's to help get my cravings and binges under control. I don't know, after a while I seem to just end up eating so much sugar and junk that I am sure it has some effect on me, even if I am under on calories.

It's my second time I have done the keto diet, both for 2 weeks. I love the diet really I just like too many fruits and vegetables that high in carbs to stick at it long term. If someone doesn't mind cutting back on those I think it is a great diet.

I get headaches for two days but then feel great after that. It really kills the hunger and appetite but as I was eating full fat cream, cheese, nuts, eggs, chicken with skin, steak etc it is really easy to make sure you don't eat too few calories as a small amount of food with high fat will be high in calories but is very satisfying too. If only fruit was low in carbs lol. I would eat strawberries but miss the rest. I would eat between 15-25 g of carbs a day. I lost like 10lb in the first week and 3 the next. I'm just waiting to see how much weight goes back on now, but I am guessing I will still be somewhere around 4lbs down which I am happy with.

I'm trying to stick to still mostly high fat, low carb foods but including my fave veggies and fruits, so will just see how that goes :)

Oh and of course adding back my fasts day too :like:
