Me thinks a glass of red on this cold, cold night is well in order. Jammies will be on and ready to follow the foodie programmes (Masterchef, Great British Menu...)

Sneezing and trying to find a thread where a lady was asking about diabetics and 5:2. Found one but that's not it, gonna give up before I start using bad language
Hi bee, is it this one? viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2440&p=20326&hilit=Diabetes#p20326 or this one : viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1918&hilit=Diabetes
Feet up with a G&T while hubby potters in the kitchen preparing crudités & dips to take to our regular Canasta evening. Bliss!
Mucking about on my iPad, playing HayDay whilst OH watches England game! Bar of CDM to enjoy and glass of something!
Relaxing and waiting for me favourite telly show. It's one about people go missing. No alcohol since I am fasting today. It will be weird because I'm used to watching it with a large vodka&orange and a bowl of cashew nuts.
Even tho its snowing I'm going out for a meal and drinks, as teenage son having friends round (they're noisy, and smelly)
Having eye laser surgery tomorrow so trying to take my mind off it!
hopeing tomorrow will be an easy fast because of it.

Sitting at home tonight, catching up on some of the telly we've recorded during the week and stuffing our faces with pizza! Yum!!
Reading the forum while the menfolk look at the footie!
Eating chocolate, drinking beer, watching Madness on BBC4...happy place. X
Oh what a dreary night it is outside. But I feel part of a Forum community, hearing about everyone's plans for relaxing and doing something nice. Me, probably a murder on TV!
I'm a recently diagnosed type 2 diabetic, though on Metformin, not insulin. The Fast Diet is an absolute blessing for me: when I was first diagnosed, I told the doctor (yes, I think it was 'told'!) not to even think about advising me to go on a diet. 'If I have to get on the scales, I'll cry,' I think I said too. I'd tried so many, and failed so many times. But the diagnosis gave me quite a shock, even though I'd suspected something was not right for quite a long time. It gave me a really powerful motive for losing weight, and then I remembered Michael Mosley's programme, and went out and bought the book. 11lb down after a couple of months, and I've hit my first real plateau - two weeks without any further weight loss. But this forum, everyone's posts, and the personal tracker are a huge help to me. Enjoy your weekend, my fellow Fast Dieters!

Just been checking 'Cumbrian Cottage Holidays' for places to stay in the Lake District for a walking holiday. I'm planning a night of wine, scones, jam and double cream (it's in the fridge and has to be used) whilst watching my favourite chick flicks.
Watching Last shows from T.V.C very sad used to love visiting in my 20's whilst repping for a supplier to B.B.C now onto footie GOAL!!!
Huddled under a blanket on the sofa, watching box set of Friday Night Lights and trying not to think about the possible 2 mile walk in the snow to work tomorrow morning if the roads are not drivable. Fasting, so feeling even colder and considering a hot bath before bed.
By the way chocobunny good luck with the laser eye surgery tomorrow, I did it about 3 years ago and can say I didn't look back! short sighted/ nearsighted to about 6.5 or 7.0. The only thing I didn't like was the smell of burning, no pain whatsoever, but worth investing in some Vicks!!
