This forum, 52fastdiet.co.uk, was 3 months old at 10:00 am UK time today! Happy birthday!
So to update this information to 10:00 am this morning:
Congratulations to all forum members, new and old, and special thanks to our 'goddess' Moogie and 'archangel' carorees (Caroline).
More important I think than these statistics, impressive as they are, is that the information here is as far as possible based on and referenced back to scientific research (kudos especially to PhilT and carorees).
And most important of all is that the atmosphere remains consistently friendly, helpful and non-judgemental. Everyone is willing to chat and advise without shouting - how refreshing! Thanks to one and all!
Now, for those of us not fasting, where's the birthday cake...?
2 months ago, dominic wrote: In its first two weeks the forum picked up c.28 members/day, and since then the daily pickup has doubled, to reach a current total of 1380 members.
There have been over 6000 posts (760 by carorees - fantastic work!)
670 people have entered their tracking data.
Best of all, the total weight loss recorded by members in the tracker is 1229 kg, that's well over a tonne. So the bigger the forum gets, the more weight it loses - that's magic!
So to update this information to 10:00 am this morning:
- The forum now has 4768 members and over the last week has picked up new members at the rate of 76/day.
- About one-third of these members are active i.e. are visiting regularly (that's a much higher proportion than most forums by the way).
- We have a large number of unregistered guests ('lurkers') who browse the forum, usually rather more than double the number of members who are online at any one time.
- Currently the most users ever online at one time was 230 on Mon Apr 08, 2013 9:46 pm (this includes lurkers).
- There have been 26731 posts (over 2500 by carorees!)
- 1577 people have entered their tracking data (excluding those who have only entered an initial reading).
- The total weight loss recorded by members in the tracker is 5245kg - over 5 tonnes. That gives a mean average of 3.3kg lost per member total, 0.616kg per member per week (median 0.462kg per member per week).
