Should have tried interview trousers on last night with time to take the waist in - never mind, please keep your fingers crossed that I do well (really want the job) and that the safety pins are just that - safe!!
What a fantastic feeling that must be. Well done.
Good luck with the interview today. X
Good luck - for your interview and your trousers staying put :clover:
DOuble good luck- bet you feel great!
Good luck hope you get the job! So funny about your pants. This morning I put on a skirt that has a zip, without undoing the zip, then it fell down, had to get another skirt out of the cupboard that was too tight before, now it fits perfectly WHAT A GOOD FEELING!
Hopefully, we will soon congratulate you on your new job and not just your weight loss.

Safety pin tip: if you want to be 100% sure that the pin will stay there and won't open, use a little cellotape around the closure.

That must have been soooooo funny!!!
Hope all goes well on both counts :)

I always realise it's time for a new pair of jeans when I start just pulling them down without bothering to undo them!
Good luck on both counts! :clover:

Just been inserting elastic into the back of two pairs of jeans in order to convert them from fitting an apple shape to a pair shape! :-D
WOW, Caroline, you did that yourself???
Good luck Swedey. I hope you don't have to go through a metal detector on the way in!
Good luck with the interview. Sending lots of good luck vibes your way.

Caroline, I hope you sew better than me because I put elastic in the back of my trousers and it was great until the stitching went poing and said trousers fell down!Just glad I was only wearing them round the house!

Oops! I hope so too! I used some button hole elastic taken from an old pair of DS's school trousers so it depends on the strength of the sewing of the buttons.
Hehe, I like a trouser-falling-down-thread!

Luckily the safety pins held up OK, but sew a couple of darts through the waste band just in case. The interview went well too, happy with what I did, should know in the next day or so if I get to the next stage.

Fingers crossed!
Keep us posted, crossing fingers here for you!!!
