I'm glad to hear that the surgery is done, even though it was so long. Sounds as though it was a very careful surgeon- that must be the best sort!
I've been thinking about you guys today, I'm sure it is very stressful. Don't forget to take care of yourself too. Big hugs!

Tracie, I've just nipped in, I don't have time to read the 33 replies but your title caught my attention so I read your post so I just wan to send you loads of love & support.

And in the words of one of my favourite singers ........... "Stand by your man ....."

     Thanks so much everyone!!

He was in surgery for five hours and 45 minutes - but the good news is the tumor was benign. He's home now, and he just had some chicken soup. He seems to be recovering very nicely. The doctor had to take his time because the tumor was fairly deep and below some facial nerves the doctor really wanted to save.

I was a bit of a wreck, but reading your comforting messages on my phone was very nice - thank you all so very much!!!!

So I feel a lot better now, that he's safe and home and doesn't have cancer. :-)

  :victory:
Thats good news! I wrote a reply earlier saying that the doc would be trying to avoid the facial nerves. It can be quite complex in that sort of area and one slip leaves the face droopy. Anyway my reply went off never to be seen again! All plain sailing for you both now.
Sorry to hear that you and Hubby had to go through all that. But very glad it all went so well. Here's sending best wishes for a quick recovery
Glad to hear hubby is home, hope he heals up well.
Glad all went well, best wishes to you both and (((hugs))) from me too.
 What a trauma for you both but at least all is well, so 'get well soon' messages to Bruce and well done you for holding it together,

Ballerina x
Glad all well. Im impressed at the short stay after a longish op, thats well done, always better to be at home in your own bed and with family. Thinking of you both, hope you are still able to make France!!
Yes you both deserve France now - do hope that that is still on the cards. There is nothing like life for bowling a googly and pulling you up short, and making you realise how precious it is (had my own reminder this week too ...)

So take some time together, relax, and look forward to your holiday  :clover:
I've just read your post, glad it all went well for your hubby, I wish him a speedy recovery!
Good news for the both of you.
