He is having a tumor removed from his cheek. at least the pathology came back this morning saying it's benign, but it still had to come out. Today was supposed to be a fasting day for both of us, but I've already blown it with stress eating at Starbucks. At least I did the cheese and fruit tray instead of three pastries :(

He's been in surgery for almost an hour, at least two more to go, and then three hours in the recovery room before I can see him.

Sorry I've been a bit MIA - been a bit worried. Hopefully we'll be back to normal tomorrow.

Tracie, sorry to hear about your husband. Wish you and him all the best. Don't worry about fasting, you'll get back on track soon enough, right now there are more important things. You're in my thoughts. Please keep us posted as to how things develop.

Oh Tracieknits,

Hugs on it's way as there nothing I can say that will make you feel better, I'm sure he will be fine but it is still a huge worry anyway. Don't worry about the food, it will take care of itself and at the moment it is unimportant,

Best wishes to you both. These things are worrying aren't they and the constant hospital visits can be very wearing. I think you've both done well to stick with the plan under the circumstances. I think I might have gone for the pastry!
