Totally spooky
10 Apr 2014, 11:14
So I did some major shopping at Systembolaget (the only place to get liquor and such, state governed) and was going to pay, only to find that my wallet was not in my bag. Freezeee, out in the car, went through the bag again (it's not that large) nothing. When did I use it the last time and where? Yesterday in a drive through so I hadn't left it there. Full speed home, praying it would be in the safe but no - not there, not in the chest of drawers, out checking the car - brained started to freeze over totally in panic. Did someone nick it at work? Impossible! Not on the dining room table, not in the book cases....grabbed the bag ans started to empty it again and.....there was the wallet!! And it was not hiding at the bottom either!! Sweet relief but still the heart went bombang.

Have this ever happened to you, that stuff go missing without any reason only to show up again in the same place it was lost?

Have to drive back to the store when John get home and mind the dogs, think I need something stronger than wine tonight ;)

LOL! I've done that too. So frustrating!! On days like that I swear I need to get rid of the large shopping tote I use as a purse and pare down to something smaller.

Me, too! I have "lost" my cell phone, wallet, and more and have spent hours looking for them. One time I looked in my purse - and emptied it out - THREE times and still couldn't find it until I got home - in my purse!!!! And yes, I have picked stuff up and put it down for a sec to do something else, and then forgot where I put it! So far, no strange stuff in the fridge, though I have caught myself before I actually did it! Only a matter of time!

I walked round my home for five minutes looking for the birthday card i knew had only just written out ...then realised i' d had it tucked firmly under my arm the whole time!
These things are caused by just generally being busy, trying to do three things at once..lose something, look for it,not there - then it is! Worrying when itskeys or money thats temporarily missing

Ps wolfie, i found the Isadora website! thanks for the recommendation x

I have come to the conclusions that quantum physics and parallel dimensions is true. That's the only explanation why something is there and all of the sudden not. How else can a large red wallet hide in a normal sized handbag for three sift throughs?

Don't know how many times I go round and round the ground floor (he only floor you can go round and round) lost something and on the fourth time it shows again?

I am happy though to hear I'm not alone in this :)

I often have to phone my mobile to find it!

Happens to me all the time. It's usually in the place you 1st looked - no matter how many times you have already checked

Mine is searching for my glasses when all the time they've been propped on the top of my head.

Poor @Wolfie you must have bean in such a panic! Sometimes, things just gang up on us. They sit there in plain sight, staring at us, laughing at us, mocking us...and we still can't see them!

Bean
