Do whatever feels right for you today and look after yourself
Hope you feel better soon RawKaren
Thank you. Have opted for two episodes of Game of Thrones courtesy of Love Film. I do like a bit of blood and guts now and then
Blustery still, alternating rain and sun, so we went for a spin around two reservoirs to see if the water levels have risen (well up on one, hardly at all on the other) and what birds have come in to over-winter (3 egrets, loads of widgeon, tufteds etc). Ate a filling lunch of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs whilst watching hardcore windsurfers pit themselves against the gusts.
Can't get my head around these early sunsets :0(
Downton tonight, bet Edith's pregnant ...
I watched the first season of GOT. but couldn't watch more. Too many sex scenes and blood for nothing for my taste. A bit like the thing in the 20s I don't remember the name of and I stopped watching. The only full frontal I want to see is my man
Just about to start thinking of aperitifs, having been & done some work with the youngster (horse) this morning, finished the commisionning of the winter field for the 2 retirees (always a big job clearing all the ferns & brambles from the fencing) & have just come in 5 mins ahead of the rain having mown all the lawns *happy*

Thankfully season two has less sex scenes.....

Yes, @Sue.Q main home in Wales, too! We know we are lucky!
Caravan now on the drive and I've stripped the bedding (in the wash) cleared the cupboards and fridge, and generally tidied it. Hub is washing the outside now.
Chickpea and apricot tagine in the slow cooker and a bottle of red warming beside it. Heating is on and dogs are snoozing in their favourite place!
Autumn is here.....

Hope you have all had a great day too and that you feel better now@rawkaren. Also hope @Wineoclock enjoyed her celebration with her hub!
Congratulations to Wineoclock. I have been married for 29 years too - time files by. We are planning a lovely holiday to celebrate our 30th anniversary next June.

Rawkaren hope you feel better soon.

I have had a lovely day. It has been blustery but sunny here so OH and I went into Birmingham to have lunch and visit the new central library which is amazing. Sounds dull I know but it is an unusual design and has created quite a bit of interest here. There is a terrace garden on the 7th floor with 360 degree views of the city - we were so lucky that it was a clear day.

Now home relaxing on the sofa, having a cup of tea and sweet treats
Wineoclock wrote: Sounds like a nice day Julie. It our 29th wedding anniversary today. Hubby has spent the day working on our new home, mainly installing the kitchen. Tonight we had a lovely bottle of Processco with duck and a freekeh salad. Oh and he brought home a dozen red roses.  :

Happy Anniversary @wineoclock.  We celebrated our 25th a couple of weeks back. Feeling much better now everyone. Thank you. Big bowl of miso does wonders for a upset tum :like:
 Yes Penny I've now fed my face 3 small courses plus bottle of red downed dishes now waiting :like: cake made as reported and will probably be cut in half then stored

Excellent choice!
I've just had a lovely read of this- such a nice friendly topic, Julie.
It's great to hear what fasting friends all over are doing at any one time.
Happy anniversary Wineo'clock- a bit late I'm sorry.
29 years is great- we are up to 27 I think!
I was busy with friends over yesterday so didn't come on as I mostly do- next time!
I realied yesterday that my parents will have their 50th anniversary next year, that seems impossible for me

About GOT and Broaldwalk Empire (I remembered the name) and others, I really tried to be interrested in them but, even if I am far for being prude, there are images that can't be unseen.... I think it was Bobby Cannavale, last year, we saw him full frontal several times and damned a man naked is ridiculous.... Except my man, of course...
