Good morning all you lovely people. Its a bright, cold clear night here, but somewhere in the world its the morning of a brand new day. Or in my case, going to bed and trying to avoid hubby's freezing cold feet.

My plans for Saturday are very fluid or, well, actually non-existent. I may have to go to the walk-in doctors to get a prescription made out for special ear drops. I get eczema in my ears, when it flares up there is no itch like it. You are told with normal eczema not to scratch and slap on some creams. But an itch in your ears is something that has to be instinctively tackled on a very base level (something to do with feeling that there are bugs crawling in your ears). The problem with trying to scratch in your ears is that it usually involves pointy tools and pointy tools can cause terrible damage. Hence the need for ear drops, the itching is sending me batty.

Other than that, I will be seeing what the weather brings, a fine day and I will be out in the garden, a wet day and I will slob on the sofa and read or watch Daytime TV (please be a nice day tomorrow).

I may also try a second fast day, as I've just finished this one and I want to get back into low carb and fasting properly, as I've fallen off the wagon.

So, whats your plans for today?
I've had a productive day so far and hopefully the streak will continue!

I woke up not that hungry and thought 'hmmm, perhaps I'll try another fast day today, or at least 16:8 it' so that's what I'm doing. I had a Pilates class this morning with a different instructor and boy, will my body ache tomorrow!

Kitchen is spotless, towels have been washed, bathroom counters are clean. Next is cleaning the shower and vacuuming and I may even tackle the random stuff in the bedroom. It's actually a pleasure doing this type of stuff when it's raining and cold - no temptation to sit in the sun!

We've having cousins over for coffee tomorrow afternoon and from having 2 people over, it's now turned into 8+ people (since, according to my mother, I can't exclude anyone) hence the deep clean. Not that I expect them to check behind the toaster for crumbs, but it's always good to have an excuse.

I do have to bake some biscuits for tea tomorrow so I may not end up fasting the whole day ... we'll see!
I can imagine how nasty that is julie, not nice at all.
I got diagnosed with bronchitis yesterday, so I took drugs last night and finally woke up at 11.30am, so my day is, nowt!!
Had a very comforting bowl of home made vanilla rice pudding with banana and maple syrup for lunch and antibiotics. Just sat on the floor watching cricket and wrapping up Xmas pressies to send overseas. At least the weather is cold and miserable so, for me, it feels a little like festive weather rather than the daft 30 degrees that normally comes with Xmas. So wrong!!!
I remember Aussie Christmases. Going to beach on Christmas day as a kid was brilliant. My Mum hated it as she still did the whole turkey roast dinner thing. and got terribly hot and bothered in the kitchen.
We did that the first Xmas we came here, 40 degrees and pouring with rain, and a roast dinner, never again!!!!
We go the bbq these days. It is never really hot here in Tas but a nice temp usually. Last year we went mad as we had UK friends over and had lobster salad, seared scallop pasta, lots of prawns, and my favourite 'Summer Pudding' as Tassie is fantastic for berries and cherries at Christmas! It's not all bad!
Hello everybody

I have made a Carrot and Walnut cake and a Lamb and Barley soup (Scotch Broth) as it's quite cold here today.

Now I am just about to head out to my future DIL's Hen's day - nibbles, drinks, life drawing  (?) and then Dinner and more drinks after.

Have a super Saturday.
cheers Maggie.
I have been to an event: a fundraising visit to a property where the owners have re-vegetated their farm, planting rain forest in the creek bed, and windbreaks etc. they are keen bird watchers and there were lots of birds, flitting about, and bird song in the air. Lunch was served. Pleasant way to pass a morning. Now I am exhausted from going to bed too late after entertaining last night. I am contemplating a Nannie nap.
It is a bright, cold crisp morning here in England, and I am just savouring my morning mug of coffee before heading up to the stables to see my hairy horse. Today we have two new horses on the yard, and I have promised to take them and their owners out for a ride so they can learn the routes. That will be pleasant. The it will be home for lunch - fresh soup followed by a coconut and macadamia nut blondie that my daughter made yesterday. Yummie :)
Oh my, Julie.... That's some nasty stuff !

Woke up quite early and will do the big housework of the week this morning. After that, I'll go for a ride - Hopefully, it won't rain and I won't have to struggle against the wind for once during the ride  - , take a shower and make some chocolate truffes for tomorrow lunch.
My OH has just landed at Heathrow he has been away for a weeks training, which in the scale of things is nothing as his normal routine is 12 weeks away then 12 at home!! So I am waiting for the call as to what train he is on. Made beef in red wine from the hairy dieters book 2 last night. So a nice lazy day with no rain hopefully!!
Morning! Already been up to exercise (Davina DVD), with my six year old behind me watching Octonauts on the laptop! Got an exciting day planned of hoovering, dusting and buying a kitchen tap! Woohoo!

Have a good day everyone!
Another Veronica Falls gig, shopping in Omotesando, a walk around Shinjuku gyoen and Yoyogi koen, and hopefully capping off the evening in a wine bar in Shinjuku San-chome.
Thinking about shoes to go with my new dress ...
I'm seeing family today, my gran and uncle who I haven't seen in a few weeks. Plus nursing this sickly stray cat I've adopted in a moment of madness (I'm too soft when it comes to animals)
Been up ages here in rainy Wales and just started my 16:8 day with a piece of the 'throw it all in' cake I made this morning. Today it has sliced dates and fresh pineapple, mixed seeds and fat free fromage frais substituted for half the butter - Yum! I'm not good with recipes and always use whatever is around, whether its in season from my allotment or on special offer somewhere.

Having a mad cleaning and organising day today. I've started applying for work now my youngest has started school - had a work trial and verbal offer yesterday so me going out to work is imminent! :victory:

Happy and excited about moving into this new phase and really glad I've found this WOE and retrained my appetite - my new job is as a chef!!

Have a good day, everyone
