Well that was a lot of fun for first thing on a fast day! I wasn't sure what size to choose, having never shopped in M&S, or ever bought anything in a UK size for that matter.@Callyanna, what size dress do you wear? You are thinner than me, but we're at least close to the same size.

Well, I guessed size 6, and I chose this lovely outfit (which I could only wear to a wedding, I think, and there are none coming up that I know about...)
Autograph All-Over Floral Lace Dress.
And then the size 6 was sold out :frown:
What's a virtual shopper to do?

@wendyjane, if you're referring to Marks and Spencer sizes then I take an 8 which is usually a good fit on me.

Going by this thread title I thought you were offering your services as a personal shopper @PennyForthem! :like:
Not shopped at M&S for a while, (apart from food!).Thought the Per Una range was quite aspirational when it was first introduced and still wear a few skirts and jeans from the range, but then it seemed to lose its way and everything was too frou-frou and frumpy! :frown:

Fabulous tool thanks for sharing Penny. It did get something really badly wrong for me though. Loose fitting long shirts....never ever. Prob because I chose to cover my bum. But thanks again. I need a 20%off voucher now.

I got stuck on the height and weight--won't let me go on to the next page. I'll try again later.

Not that I'll get to shop at M&S from here.

You're right, Penny, those of us with long torso, short legs body type need special handling..(that's why I wear only trousers and skirts that come all the way up and over the waist; creates optical illusion of longer, leaner legs--and no muffin-top. Just bought 3 new pair from LL Bean) and I don't care whether it's in current style or not--unflattering is unflattering in or out of style.

Well I went on it this morning. A.B.S.O.L.U.T.E.L.Y H.I.D.E.O.U.S daahhlings. They have done themselves absolutely no favours at all with this tool. It started off well (I liked the colours they were going to recommend for me), but the execution was appalling.

Please tell me how you can first recommend a revolting plaid 'a' line brown skirt from the classic collection and then go onto recommend a short flippy skater dress for the same person.

I bet this project cost them a fortune.

LOL rawkaren, I couldn't work out if the fashion in the UK had gone towards wierd length slightly flared skirts or if it was just M&S, but you're right, a lot of the stuff was horrid, and they basically showed me anything and everything I felt.
