Delighted or Disappointed?

I have been doing the 5:2 way of life since February now and am really pleased with the results. I have not been weighing myself and want to continue to avoid doing that. I have been taking measurements instead although I didn't have the courage to do this for the first couple of weeks so the loss is possibly greater than this.

The change in measurements are as follows (all a loss)
Waist - 9.5 cm
Bust - 9 cm
Under bust - 4 cm
Hips - 14 cm
Widest part of bottom - 17 cm
Top of thighs under bottom - 13 cm
Right Thigh - 13
Right Calf - 4 cm
Left Upper arm - 3.5 cm

My waist to height ratio has gone from 0.52 to 0.43

More than the actual changes in measurements has been a change in body shape and an overall better balance in my figure (am pear shaped). I still have a lot of energy and look forward to the fast days. I am really enjoying this WOL and will not be stopping it any time soon. :) My advice to anyone starting out it to think about what you want to achieve and look upon this diet as a long term approach. It doesn't happen over night but it will get you there eventually.
Great post! I really like your way of looking at things. I'm a pear as well, and I am so enjoying having a shape that is in proportion and attractive thanks to 5:2.
Good on you Louise

Looked at your project via the link WOW and thank you looks amazing. Loved the colours too
Thanks to you both. :)
