Can't believe I've had a 9lb loss in a week, I'm going to look like a prune soon with all them fluids gone. Started low carb experiment Monday and have been losing a pound a day, hopefully it will settle down soon before I dry up hahaha. Finding it really mentally hard but it's only for 2 weeks, just hope I can get through the weekend.

Crikey that is a lot!
I know from experience that serious carb cutting can do that, good luck with getting through the weekend (If only wine had no carbs *sigh*)

Christ alive! That is some loss. Well done.
These things happen, don't panic, things will settle down soon, just enjoy this welcome little boost, so long as it doesn't continue then everything should be fine. This must be the opposite of the famous plateau, I guess you could call it the plummet

yeah, low carb will do that to you. If you stay low carbing then you can chalk it up to actual weight loss since you will be resetting your water retention level. I find that if I have a bad carb day, the first thing I do that evening and the following day is drink a bunch of water and get back on low carb and my weight will settle out by the second day. My latest thing has been to throw in a fast day (Or even 16:8) a day after the binge, and I get right back on track (I usually don't log that one day after in my weigh ins though since it is not a true reflection of my numbers). I do like the flexibility of 5:2 in managing bad days as well.
WOAH!!! That is fantastic!!! What a fab loss!!!
