All good things...
18 Oct 2013, 14:01
I was on holiday last week in the beautiful Algarve. On the advice of some 5:2ers I gave myself a break from fasting as I'd hit a rather frustrating plateau in the weeks prior to my hols. I managed to put on 4lbs over the course of the holiday!! OUCH. I am pleased to report that after 2 fast days this week and only 2 work outs those pounds were gone at today's weigh in, with a little more besides.

I have exactly half a stone to go to reach my target weight so fingers crossed that I've hit another downward trend.

Another example of the sage wisdom of my fellow 5:2ers. Thanks for all the advice.

Fab! Well done. Those 4lbs could well have just been your glucogen stores replenishing anyway. Aside from not fasting on holiday, did you watch what you ate or just throw caution to the wind?
