Is it possible that I'm doing too much exercise to lose weight. Getting a bit frustrated with my weekly weigh in now. I have dropped down to 2 fasts a week with 16.8 on all other days. Less booze, less carbs, less sugar laden fruit. But my goal is to run 5k. And I have until 4th Dec to achieve this. As I am having a "laparoscopically Assisted Hysterectomy"

Concentrate on your right running goal & be fit for your op.
I was on track for my target weight & then upped the exercise & it's now being elusive. I would rather be fit than light tho.

I agree with BBT, get fitter now because post-op you won't be able to do as much for a while, but you will be able to fast. You look great anyway
I'm with everyone else. The fitter you are, the easier it will be to recover from the op.
Best of luck honey, care for yourself first then your commitments. Live to run another day if necessary :0)
I hope your surgery goes well and that you recover quickly.
Thanks guys, I needed that. I am feeling a bit emotional at the moment, which isn't like me at all. I'm usually the one dishing the advice and cuddles. What I don't get is that my fitbit says I'm burning average 2.5k cals a day, which means my TDEE is about right at 2350. I'm going to have to log food on feast days now, but i didn't want to do that to be honest. Well I have been to class and I'm now going to meet a friend for lunch. Thanks again lovely people.,
We'll ladies and gents. I now know why I hadn't shifted much weight recently, and been very emotional. Without subjecting you to too much information, I haven't had a period for about 5 months, as using the implant, today I have started a humdinger. On the upside I won't have any implant or smears or periods to worry about in 8 weeks. And the scales showed a great loss this week. Yay
Hope you're feeling a but better now. And I wish you the best if luck for the impending op. Sending hugs your way (((()))) x
