This morning, after 37 weeks, I not only hit two stone off, but I beat my weight target of 10 stone 5lb.
But the big one for me as a definite apple, is that I have finally, finally got below the 50% waist height percentage!
The reason it is the target I'm most pleased about is that I have felt for some time that my weight target, which once seemed an impossible wish, was actually achievable with persistence, however the percentage was looking anything but!
It's taken me till a BMI of 22.53 to get here! And one carb heavy meal and I'll puff out again, but THIS morning the tape measure said 33 inches. Yay!
So what now? I'm carrying on, because I've still got quite alot of abdominal fat (I measure waist around natural waist, not belly button) and will aim for the next half stone, with a view to stopping before that if it feels right.
The wierdest thing is I don't feel like going out and celebrating with food, as I haven't felt deprived while doing this!
So a big thank you to Michael Mosley, @Moogie, forumites and my really supportive OH!
Moogie, I don't know if I would have kept going if it hadn't been for the forum, the information and support have been so valuable, and the number of times I've looked at my Progress Tracker is embarrassing!
Believe me, if I can do this, so can you.
