crying in the closet
16 Feb 2014, 03:26
I have a conference @ Disneyland California this week. As if that's not enough fun, when I was packing today, I tried on a skirt that didn't even button last summer. It fit just right, so of course I promptly burst into tears. Several other things I tried on also fit again & I'm happy & humbled. I haven't lost enough for anyone else to notice, but I know there are people here who will GET it. Small victories :)

Well done MLCDz,(Mary lynn). Thanks for sharing that! I haven't yet braved my drawer of too small items, but perhaps I should.

Congratulations! How brilliant was that!! Enjoy your conference and wearing your new, old stuff before it gets too big.

Don't leave it too long to try things on Gail1963 and Sallyo, or you may shrink right through a whole wardrobe. I missed out on some things on the way down through not trying on or it being the wrong season to wear them.

Congratulations ! :victory:

You'll see, it's always very emotional when you can wear things you couldn't for s some time. I can wear things from 20 years ago now and, the first time I wore my favorite shirt (which is one of my dad's shirts from the 70s) I was a mess. A very proud mess, that goes without saying
