Doing a happy dance
28 Feb 2014, 19:12
Last week I ordered a new pair of jeans. Now, I must tell you I don't really do jeans, they just don't do me, if you know what I mean! When they arrived I tried them on only to find that the waist, well I managed to get both hands down and into the legs! Not a good look, so I ordered the next size down. They arrived and I have been looking at them for a few days. You see that biatch voice in my head has been telling me that they wouldn't fit, haha, who are you kidding, I mean you're still fat girl.... Oh she went on. Well I tried them on today...........

Currently shaking my booty about in my size 12s.....oh yeah oh yeah, go me :)

Seriously chuffed with myself....just had to share because I started out with tight 16s!!!

As I was growing up Mum would always say ignore the label size how the item fits will depend on shape/style of garment-fabric used and the quality/workmanship of the item (one off verses mass production) and Mum should know she went to trade school and became a pattern and dress maker  So as I grew up (and was larger than most of my friends I went for comfort not fashion  BUT THEN I DISCOVERED 5:2 and guess what Mum was right.... I may have hankered after a pair of skinny jeans but even down to a uk10 not found a pair I feel or look good in  But who cares? Like you I'm doing a happy dance as it's been in excess of 20yrs since I have been a UK10 so Well done you-Well done me HAPPY DANCE (can we count that as exercise?)
