Fabulous new scales...
26 Jul 2013, 16:40
I've been trying to not weigh myself too often on my decade-old rickety bathroom scales, but have been delighted with the bit of weight I've lost in the last 7 weeks. In honour of my missing 3 kilos (give or take), I've invested in some Ozeri scales that show body fat, bone density, etc. They are now sitting in my bathroom, sleek and beautiful, while I am downstairs about to open a bottle of wine to console myself. The bloody things are telling me I'm 3 kilos heavier than I thought!

Take them back! They must be wrong  enjoy your wine and banish them to the cupboard for a week or two, then you can show them who's the boss

I waited 1.5 week to buy a scale and now not having an accurate starting number haunts me. Don't drown yourself in calories. Think about how much better your clothes fit...you still lost that weight!

I once gained 1.5 pounds after a week then dropped 4 the next. Focus on the trend lines not one measurement.
