Delighted or Disappointed?

After serveral months of no weight loss my scales finally started moving again and today they showed magic numbers - below goal weight and below a BMI of 25.
It feels really good to have arrived and thanks to the plateau I think I know how to maintain my weight. Only problem is I need a new wardrobe

So if you are on a plateau - hang in there, it will start moving again eventually. Mine lasted for more than 3 months

Have a great day everybody!
Awesome! Well done.
Good on you! Well done!
Well done Nadiaj for hanging on in there! It's so true that it's worth calmly persevering while ones way of eating normalises. You have a good day too!
My day is going to be great - I have been on a very long wait for a downward trend with constant little ups and downs and today I am suddenly at my lowest since starting in January and this is unusually at the start of my fasting day!
The inches have gradually come off from somewhere and I can now buy size 12 having been 18 in January at the start of this WOE. How pleasing is that?
If a goal is still significant after all this success, I have about 5 pounds to go.
Perhaps this will be the Year of Ultimate Success YUS!!!! - for lots of us, like Moogie and Carorees?
Well done and thanks for posting :victory: . Gives me hope that my plateau will end. Normal BMI still some way off for me tho'
Well done. So pleased for you. I think I am entering a plateau at the moment, stayed the same for the last 3 weeks. But I intend to just hang in there as I feel so much better.
It might be worth reading the pdf that Carorees posted on the famine effect in the post on the Radio National topic that I posted which discusses ways around the plateau you hit when your body thinks that you are about to fade away and die!!
Fantastic News
Well done on sitting it out that took some will power indeed
Good Luck with maintenance :clover: Sue. :clover:
Thanks for sharing with us. Well done, it shows how determined you are x
I kept going due to the health benefits - weight loss was actually not my initial reason for fasting - more of an added bonus. And I was fine staying a few pounds above my goal weight so that is probably why I just continued. But hey - here I am and it sure feels good :-)
Well done! :like:
Looking at your stats, it must have been very frustrating being so close, but you kept going! The other thing I noticed was your TINY waist, what a fabulous figure you have (Okay, there is a teeny bit of apple-shaped envy going on here, as my waist is still over 50%...!)

I hope you do something to celebrate today!
Well done on being patient and not losing heart!
Enjoy purchasing that new wardrobe - nothing can beat the feeling of slinking into a new outfit in a smaller size! X

I have an exaggerated hourglass shape - I've always gotten remarks on my waist. Maybe I could use some more muscles in that area
Celebrate I will - tenderloin, creamy garlic potatoes, red wine sauce + caramel apple pie and vanilla icecream - and everything is organic! Thats a feast
well done, I get so disheartened on plateaus and always end up giving up. I want your feast, it sounds immense.
