Delighted or Disappointed?

First week - no loss.

Well, this was my first real week on the fast diet. I did really well on my first fast day and the 2nd day, I went over my calories by a little. I don't feel that I overindulged at all on the other days and I walked 4 miles yesterday. Yet today on the scale 0 change. :frown:

But, I'm not going to give up. I'm going to keep going. Today is a fast day for me and I have a healthy filling meal prepared for dinner tonight. I'm going to try to keep busy afterwards to keep from snacking after dinner.

Welcome. Keep going, it took me a month before my body got the message. Sometimes patience pays.

Oh how strange, there's another post on here almost identical! I know it's disheartening but don't give up...and always remember to check your measurements if there's no result on the scales. That can sometimes give you a better result. Don't despair, with 5:2 you'll get there...eventually :-)

Thank you! I will keep at it! Right now, I'm not tracking my calories on other days, but after the holidays if I'm still struggling I will.

That's a good plan. If your weight remains stubborn, there are lots of tips in the 'explore the 5:2 diet' > 'not losing weight' section.

Our bodies take time to register changes, we all have different stories to share !

Take some pics and measurements as you may loose cms/inches before the scales show.

Just hang on in there keep doing what you've been doing and don't worry about sometimes having a few extra calories until you've got used to meals and calorie count of certain foods, just give this WOL time to weave its
magic on you :heart:
