Delighted or Disappointed?

I have been on this way of eating since January 25th, and I can prouldly announce that I have lost a bit more than 20 kgs since then and have therefore reached my goalweight of 77.3 kgs midway. Which of course means another 20 kgs to lose until I am at my dream weight. Apparantly this might be the case next May, if I keep going like this- hurray!!!
And ...tada.... the hands writing this message don't suddenly belong to an obese person anymore but to a person who is just within the overweight range, no more read numbers for me!
After a good start with 5:2 I initially started struggeling and then slacking a bit. And during 5 weeks of summer I had stopped 5:2 altogehter. But since prince George's birth (just a coincidence though) I have stopped eating sweets, cake, bisquits... altogether. It has been much easier to get back into 5:2 and now the weight is coming off nicely.
Very grateful greetings
from trini
Well done on reaching your milestone trini! :victory:
Good for you! Excellent work and very inspiring.

I'm still in the early days yet (started at the beginning of July) and I try not to focus on when I'll be done. I try to remind myself that the important thing is that I'm actually making progress, even small amounts of progress. But I do love reading the posts here and seeing how everyone is doing. That really helps me keep going.
Congratulation :victory:
Wow! 20kg gone forever and now a new member of the 'overweight' gang! Welcome to the club! :victory: :like: :)
Thank you all for your kind words!
Something that is odd though is that not a single person outside my familiy has commented on my weight loss yet. And my familiy cannot help but notice it since I keep going on and on and on about it, so that's not saying anything really.
Congratulations Trini. :like: That is amazing and so wonderful. :clover:  :victory:
This is so great, Trini!!!! Congratulations! :like:
Well done! I am just at the start of my journey so it is lovely to hear of other's successes! I have set my interim goal at losing 25kg, no idea what that will look/feel like as it was around 16 years ago I was last that weight!!
Well done Trinni  especially moving down a group on your bmi
strange about the family not mentioning your reduction
My sister has just joined in with me on this wol but told me she thinks I've lost mine too quick !! No-way coz I've now been at it for 22 weeks
Don't think she was paying attention way back in April
( nowt so queer as folk )
Good Luck with your next goal. :clover: Sue. :clover:
That's fantastic Trini, congratulations! :like: Can well imagine how pleased you are. Wishing you the best of success for the next bit!
I am in exactly the same boat, just gone into the orange! Weirdly no one outside my immediate family has commented either! I am tall (5ft 11) and think as I'm still overweight people just see that! I think the next stage will be more obvious to others, but who knows! I'm not too bothered as I can see and feel a massive difference! Congratulations on your milestone and I'll be joining you around the same time next year to celebrate the green! :0)
Dear Mariposa,
It may well be possible that it has got to do with us being so tall, as I am exactly the same height: 5ft 11 !!!
I think the next stage will be more apparent, too, especially since the bad weather approaches and when in spring we both take off our warm coats they will be well surprised I should think and hope!!!
What is your goal weight? Mine is 77.3 kgs.
Very well done, keep up the good work!
Well done Trin. I have the opposite problem, everyone has noticed, I even comment that my trousers are literally falling down, but I cannot see the difference in the mirror.
