I have been fasting more or less seriously for three weeks now, being half way for my third week. But I have only had working scales this week so am counting this as my starting point. Was not happy to be four pounds heavier than my guess-in but actually, it has just about gone this week already! I know I won't be able to sustain a fast loss like this very long but a little kick start doesn't help.
I have found the advice on the forum invaluable and have already concluded based on other posts to...
1. Stock up on some ready meals to help me out on chaotic fast days
2. Stick to the 5:2 faithfully and not worry about 4:3 etc, because sticking to it over the long term is going to help more than trying to speed up but losing faith which happened last time
3. Monitor my food intake on feast days while I am getting back in the swing of things, by keeping a food diary and trying to keep to my TDEE
So far so good! So thank you all for being so knowledgable and helpful.
