I Fell Apart...
14 Feb 2014, 04:32
...and it's only week 2  I was SO hyped up to do this, to do it right, and had such a great first week, so I am feeling incredibly disappointed in myself.

BUT: I am going to pick myself up, dust myself off, and start all over again with tomorrow. I will make it a a fast day.

Here's to a better next few days for me.

That's the beauty of this whole way of eating (WOE) - it's totally flexible. So today didn't happen. That's fine. Make it tomorrow. It takes a little getting used to and some days are better than others.

Hang in there!

Hey flamanette, no worries, as MelbMandy said, the beauty of this WOE is the flexibility! So just fast another day. Some days are definitely harder than others - for example, I started my normal fast on Wednesday and found it so SO tough that I stopped and decided to fast Thursday instead. On Thursday I found it so easy to fast- wasn't hungry, either physically or mentally.

So start again and good luck!

Some day are just not meant to be! Turn it into a half fast or just forget about it and do another one, it takes a while to get into the swing, but you haven't failed!

Don't worry flamanette, it's one day at a time, today's a new day :)

You didn't fail a fast, you just decided against doing it

The next one will be better (or not!). This WOE really DOES work, just takes a bitta getting used to.

I was fasting yesterday & sat on the sofa in the evening OH said "I'd like some crisps, but I'm not allowed them on a fast day am I?" (he doesn't fast, he was referring to the fact of not waving temptation in my face ) ...... my reply ....... "not a problem Sweetheart, that was only in the early days, I'm not scared of a bit of hunger now, it's only temporary"

Weight now BELOW target in preparation for a weekend of valentines feasting :like:
