Lost nearly 8lb in one month!

Hi everybody,

I've lost nearly 8lb in just 1 month- that is the most weight I have lost in nearly 10 years. I have been struggling with Weight watchers, Slimming World (although Slimming World does have great cheap cookbooks and they do teach you cook everything yourself.) I never lost this much in one month. I have been doing 4:3 diet which suits me as I find it resets my eating. I tend to fast Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, so that Friday, Saturday and Sunday are clear. I also just started to do twenty minutes Zumba on my Note 8 tablet in the evening, while cooking the dinner.

I'm so pleased at the rate of loss and very confident that this is for life not just for Christmas!

Hi Samantha! That's a terrific start. D'you know I have been toying with the idea of doing 4:3 for some time but never thought of do doing the days you do. How do you cope with doing 2 consecutive fast days? Hmm I may try it that way instead of doing a Sunday.

Hi Bean,

Yes, 4:3 works very well for me and the two fast days together really sorted out my IBS. I find it slightly harder on the second day but I'm getting used to it. It also focuses me after maybe eating a little too much at the weekend.
