Hi everyone
Well, I have survived my first year of 5:2 and very successfully at that. Internal and external improvements.
I have a strange thing happening to me. As one diets and loses weight, there is the necessity to shop for
more fitting clothes, that stay on and don't fall off. I have discovered that I am somehow (and still in shock)
a size 10 in some clothes. I tried on a pair of size 10 linen pants and loved the look BUT decided that a size 12
was better suited for when the heat arrives in Western Australia, dry and humid in February and March. (Thinking of body swelling with the heat). Today the first day of our Summer I wore them to work to find that they were so comfortably accommodating me and wanting to fall off me.
Why have I got a phobia about size 10. Does it take a while to adjust one's mindset to the fact that you are actually a smaller size than you ever expected. This has never happened to me before. Is there a scientific adjustment period to the change in one's size?
