Never thought i'd see the day

When the scale had a number 8 at the start  :victory:
I am now 8 stone 13.75lb  I started at 10 stone 3lb all be it on ww and after many a failed start and putting back on i knew something had to change.
I heard about 5.2 and began it when i weighed 9 stone 10lb . Doesn't sound massively heavy but when you're just over 5 feet tall it feels it :frown: i looked dumpy and felt decidedly unhealthy
I'm back in my size 10/12 jeans and skirts and i have renewed confidence. My aim was to lose a good deal of my weight gain by the time i attended the wedding of a friend, the wedding is next Saturday so i am very pleased
I would like to lose maybe another 3/4 pounds so i have a buffer then i am determined to maintain, that for me is the key to success :like:
Congratulations @janpartly, bet that is the best feeling! :rainbow:
Oh well done @Janpartly! Are we going to see a pic of you in your wedding finery looking slim and gorgeous?
Yay @Janpartly - that is completely brilliant! Very well done you!

How wonderful are you going to look and feel next Saturday?? I'm so pleased for you!

We all know that it takes a shed load of determination when you make the commitment to yourself to lose weight. The fight is often internal, because the only competition is yourself.

Now we would like a report on next Saturday, please!

:rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:
well done [tag]Janpartly[\tag]
photies are required please
Thanks ladies
You are totally right Hazelnut it is an internal fight and takes so much commitment but it's so worth it.
As for posting photos i can't seem to do it, i tried on the fashonista thread. I followed the tutorial and nothing shows up :frown: dunno why.
I have had a nightmare trying to get an outfit that fits, i had a size 14 then i lost weight and it's too large :like: then i bought a 12 and i find it too tight on the bust area
Now i have an emergency dress arriving (hopefully tomorrow) if thats not right i'm off down the shops  Talk about last minute
Well done @Janpartly That's a great result.
Just think how fab you'll feel at the wedding. :like: :clover:
How wonderful Jan ! You must feel like you're walking on air! :like:
That's fantastic! Well done you :like:

Two things: a) have you tried a minimiser bra with your size 12 frock? B) don't forget you have a buyer for said frock
I have Winsome but i'm rather short waisted and busty not a good look when your my height. I'll see what it looks like when iv'e lost a bit more weight if it still doesn't look right i'll let you know
Well done and like others say can't wait for the visuals!
Congratulations, what a wonderful feeling and so close to being able to show it all off in a lovely outfit, enjoy the wedding and yes, photos would be great

Quick update ... after the thrill of being under 9 stone i had a very good week food wise and put a little back on to put me back up to 9 stone again
Last weekend i had a weekend off i was at a wedding (buffet like no other) and a full breakfast in the hotel, topped off with cheeseburger and chips in the evening  loved every minute but found this week a struggle to stay good i think the flood gates had been opened  this morning weigh in revealed i had lost the regain to put me back under the 9 stone mark again :victory: It's a mystery but i feel a good week coming on.
It's lovely isn't it but I've always felt that the OCCASIONAL blowout does us good on our weight loss journey, it seems to really shake things up, and get it our systems all spruced up and working again, well done,
