... But the good news is, another pound down, and half an inch off the waist (only another half inch to go to meet first target! :victory: )

That was after I picked myself off the floor, having worked out why I'd just put on a couple of lbs ...
What a hoot Silverdarling! Do you check to take your watch off when you get on the scales?! But an iPad weighs more......
I am glad this morning after that very happy weekend away (I was really indulgent, lovely) as I am almost back to the lowest point along my route and will own up and track it in a couple of days hoping to settle back to normal after an abnormal spike.
Haaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Here in Greece, there's scales in every chemist and many people weigh there. I find it weird because people get on the scales with clothes, shoes, any time of the day etc but anyway, it's their prerogative.
One time, I was with me mum and we went to the chemist. As soon as we walked in, she goes straight to the scales and steps on them. She then releases a huge scream... THALIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa... I AM FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!! To which I replied...
"Mum, please put down your BRIEFCASE and your HANDBAG and then try again"... ;-)
Katharina - the situation this morning was get up, go to loo (!) and have shower ... THEN jump on scales, in the buff, no watch ... but forgetting that I was consulting the iPad to see my progress tracker WHILE I was weighing!!!!!!

TML - I do have the reputation in my family for absentmindedness.

For instance, it once took me 2 days to notice that a boyfriend had shaved off his moustache ...
        :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
ah ah ah!
in the morning after fast I go the loo, take all clothes off, exhale ***all*** the air in my lungs and THEN get on the scales.

Now I inhale in the hopes that I float a bit!
I have asked the lads at various times to hold my ponytail up whilst on the scales. But its not as bad as someone on one of these threads said they did, they asked their husband to hold up their boobs whilst on the scales.

BTW, my in home nickname has been changed to 'squirrel' because of the effects the meds I am on are having. If anyone has seen the film 'UP' they will know exactly why. For example, I came into the kitchen to make hubby a mug of tea, its brewing on the counter right now, probably over brewed by now, so I better get it stirred and milked. At least I remebered it, this morning I forgot my first 4 mugs of tea in a row. It was past lunchtime before I had a drink.
Thanks. I needed a good laugh!
I get the ponytail but boobs? Aren't they a part of our weight? (Well, they aren't a part of mine, LOL, but you get my drift.)
Pamico/Miffy - air in lungs is the same as air outside - neither extra weight nor extra buoyancy, so no need to suffocate or hyperventilate!
Pfffffft Pete, let a lass dream... :-)
Being a big boobs woman, if I could take them off while going on a scale, I would be, at least, 5 kgs lighter :giggle:
My guess is that I would be 5grms lighter! ;-)
*runs to kitchen scale and plants boob on scale*...... Left boob, 746 grams, right boob, 697 grams..
