Delighted or Disappointed?

It was only a little gain of 1kg (after a week away on business) but 'in the old days' that would have been the start of that slippery slope that we all know so welll.

Not this time - I had the answer all ready - a fast & some motivation from the 'fasting today' thread, and all is back on track

Well done, and good luck in your future losses. I think that this approach is useful in assisting the development of a sense of proportion and the ability to be self-disciplined. I'm happy that you haven't succumbed to the panic and despair of less helpful approaches. Here's hoping that I am able to remember that for when I have a temporary "blip" in future.
That's great Annie. This WOE really is the secret to gaining a healthy weight and maintaining it.
