Peanuts....again.....
07 Aug 2013, 16:31
Hi

Scoffed a whole bag of dry roasted last night.

Whoops.

When I got up this morning it was up 2/3 lb (I wasn't fasting yesterday but then again I was being pretty careful.....apart from the peanuts during the night).

So, is it possible to gain that much fat in a couple of hours or is this "water retention" from the salt I ve heared about. If so ,how does this work?

Been out shopping today and (horror of horrors) went at two mini marathons (snickers to anyone under 40 YOA). I dread to think that's done, I'm not looking.

If you don't buy 'em, you can't eat 'em.

Switch to unshelled macadamia and use a nail file to open them.

Don't feel guilty. You weren't fasting, you were careful all day, you enjoyed them... case closed.

Just draw a line under it and leave em on the shelf next time! I'd guess a lot of that weight will be water. Make it a lesson learned and it wont be a dead loss.

No but the scales have shot up now....6lb or so.

So there is a gallon (or two) of water sloshing around me washing the sodium out?

To put on 6lbs the peanuts would have to have been 21000 calories!

Well, it is not fat for sure! :-)

Maybe the two marathons weren't such a good idea...

Hope for better things tomorrow.

I hadn't intended to fast again for the moment but....
