Not sure if it really counted as a plateau as it was only about 3-4 weeks, but I was stuck at around 11stone 4.25/4.75 pound and getting a little worried that I was headed for long term plateau land.
I did a bit of exercise this week and a little yoga, nothing major though and on Thursday I did a liquids only fast (other than broth). Last night I went to a beer festival, had quite a few ales and later on a few vodka and cokes. Was concerned all that sugar and beer was going to spell for disaster, but it seems I've gone down to 11stone 2.5 pounds Not counting my chickens yet though as next week I'll probably be stuck again, that seems to be the pattern I follow. But the main thing is it IS working, it DOES work and it IS doable.
I know people say that exercise makes little difference, but I've always found if I do some, the weight seems to shift easier. I do tend to mix workouts up - I do a few from youtube(with the curtains closed) which are kickboxing style aerobics workouts and some short burst interval training workouts. I also went for a 20 minute walk/run (2min intervals). Obviously I'm not doing loads and I want to increase, but I'm getting there slowly.
I'm also considering doing a once a week liquids only fast, to see if this helps. Or maybe I just need to drink beer every week
