Really cheesed off now!
25 Jul 2013, 06:16
I have been really good the last few weeks and yet I keep gaining weight! After last weeks gain, I thought (hoping!) it may have been water retention as I had been doing quite a bit of exercise. So last/this week I just did what I normally do and cut back a bit on non-fast days and another half a pound on this morning! Very disheartening :frown:
Had recently had a small plateau then had two weeks of a 2lb loss each so was overjoyed my weightloss had kickstarted again. Shame it didnt last long!!

Hey there, a 1/2 pound is really good! I just got off a 7 week plateau and was totally losing faith. I was told to re-examine my TDEE and that really made a difference for me. I am also a bit of a sugar addict so was really mindful of what I was putting into my mouth this week that was sugary and aimed for nectarines or alpro soya chocolate puddings (100 calories each). Sounds like you are really doing what you need to do so I think it will pay off for you soon enough. Maybe you are very close to the weight you want to be? Good luck!

I agree with Plateaumama that cutting down on sugary foods and being a bit mindful of your TDEE ( at least until you get the idea of what 'normal' eating is for you) can really make a difference.
