Seven Stone - and SO Chuffed!
24 Jan 2014, 23:45
GOAL MET! SUCCESS! OFFICIALLY ON TO MAINTENANCE!

The title of this post is a bit of a joking salute to MM and @Moogie and all of my new British virtual friends. Before I started 5:2, just about 10 months ago, I wasn't quite sure how much a stone weighed, and I certainly had never been "chuffed" before.

Now, I'm thrilled to report that I've reached a weight that's a nice round number - 7 stone, and I've lost a nice round number as well - 10 kg. In 10 months. And that 10 kg is also 22 pounds, and my new BMI is 22 (calculated using the "New BMI Calculator" which I feel I should use, being the shortest forum member). Aren't numbers great!

EDIT: And if you multiply 5:2 you get 10, and if you add 5:2 you get 7. Really too bad I don't believe in numerology...

Pictures to follow, when I get a chance.

Here are my shouts of joy, which may be audible around the world..

That is fantastic Wendy, especially as it seems so much harder for shorter people to lose weight. How tall are you actually, if you don't mind me asking?
Congratulations!! And well done learning how to speak British ;-)

I don't know about "harder", @Julieathome, but it was certainly hard - till I found 5:2. Then, while perhaps not exactly easy, it became so straightforward.

I'm 4'10". Don't mind at all. Really the only thing that ever bothers me is occasionally some clueless acquaintance will coo over me - "aren't you cute" - that kind of thing - nearly patting me on the head. Very irksome.
Great job and well done to you! That is a fabulous result. :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory:
