Hi All,

Just wanted to post again after a long break, and admit that I feel a bit of a fraud really! :(

I was doing really well and I was "convinced" that this was the way of life for me for good. So much so, that I posted the same feeling several times!

Anyway, I was made bankrupt in July, and the wheels just fell off for me. Back to bad eating and drinking habits to ease the pain somehow!

However, I'm back now and I've even started to exercise alongside the WOE, so I'm hoping to report some good results again soon.

Be interested to know if anyone else has experienced similar and come back to the fold?

Tony

Hi Tony, I wasn't make bankrupt or anything but stopped doing 5:2 for about 3/4 months. Only came back in July/August and with a 2week holiday in between its been tough. But I started a blog to show myself that I had good days and bad days and that overall it does get a bit easier after a while and I've found that recording that a my weight has made me stick to it. STill don't like fasting but it's working- I just can't wait to get to maintenance. I hope this WOL gives you a feeling of control. At least in the UK your bankruptcy will only last 1 year so try and move on with your life and realise it is happening to a lot of people and some people view it as a relief to get out of the black hole of debt. Good luck

Hi Tony

Got nothing to add as I haven't had a break, however, would like to wish you all the best, you have had a very difficult few months.

Hello Tony, I did have a break from 5:2 over the summer probably about 8 weeks in total due to surgery. I hope things begin to improve for you..tough times, but welcome back to the forum!! Onwards and upwards - a saying my family have always used when things get bad! Good luck.
