The switch
29 Aug 2013, 14:52
Been away at my mums so the steps have been low low low. The carbs and alcohol have been high high high. But surprisingly I didn't gain. I was wondering why this could have happened. I honestly think its because I skipped several breakfasts, didnt eat after evening meal and didn't have any snacks.
Yesterday I got back and went straight into a fast and then an exercise class in the evening. I have to say that it felt like my best fast felt yet..for some reason I didn't feel weird, I didn't have too many tummy grumbles and I didn't feel peckish in the evening. Sometimes I have a low cal hot choc or some low cal jelly. So has my body finally switched over. Has anyone else had the switch moment?
Also jumped on the scales and was 2lb lighter. I'm aiming to be 12 stone by the beginning of November. And maybe 11 by Christmas. There you go I've said it. So now it's real. I feel empowered by saying it out loud. Looking at my progress chart I'm kicking myself for having a blip now.

4 months in and... no... some days easier than others but not yet hit easy, energetic fasting nirvana. One day...

Good going though, sure you'll get to where you want to be, especially with a positive attitude!
