Today I had to post my Christmas cards and presents to my friends who live interstate. I walked to the post office and while walking home I made sure I popped into a few op shops (located on the same street as the Post Office) to try my luck. Actually I had a niggling feeling to go have a look-see and I am glad I did.
I found a cute black cotton with white embriodered flowers A-line skirt - perfect for summer. Oh-oh it was a size 10 and so far I have been wearing size 12. I lined the garment up to my body thought it might be worth it as a cheap aspirational garment and asked the attendant if I may try it on. It fits! Not only does it fit the waist is a little bit big. Given the skirt cost all of a dollar (one Australian dollar at that ($1AUD = 0.89US cents or $1AUD = 0.55 GBP pounds sterling or $1AUD = 0.65 Euro cents as of 17 Dec)). Not only have I lost another dress size I found the bargain of the day.
I started this way of life as an Australian size 14 (US size 10, Europe 42). I am now a happy Aust size 10 (US size 6, Europe 38).
It seems that on this way of eating I am losing a dress size for every ~5-6kg weight loss.
Given that my goal is still ~4kg away when this little black skirt no longer fits I will happily donate it back to the op shop.
Onwards and downwards! This is one happy Frog.
(Oh I love the snow on the forum but we are just starting to warm up in this part of Australia and I am looking forward to fasting in the warmer weather, and wearing my cute A-line skirt.)
