Learnt a lesson

Well my progress so far
161lb start weight
153. Wk 1
150. Wk 2
151 Wk 3

But i really struggled this week (wk3) with my 2 fasts, I went over both days one day 750 the other 600. Even had to move mondays fast to a tuesday as i failed miserably.

I have been great on them normally and dont need to count calories on feed days, but this week I found it hard, it's not TOM but I have a bad back so haven't exercised at all this week ( I normally do a 5days a week)

So I'm thinking back to the exercise this week for me.... In the hope I don't have to get strict on feed days as I still have 2 stone to lose!
Anyone else found that with exercise?

I think it's too easy to focus all your attention on this week's weight loss, but really it's amazing that you've lost as much as you have in 3 weeks! And I bet that over the last week although putting on 1lb, it won't be fat, it'll be water weight etc. GOOD WORK :)

So I just finished my 5th week of 5.2 (actually turned into 3 fasts this week), and more or less stayed the same mmm. After putting on a pound last week, so trying hard not to be disappointed and eat crap all day today to cheer myself up.
Think I need to be more careful on feed days, but I wish I'd taken some measurements at the start as I feel slimmer oddly. Will take them this week for future reference.
But really struggling with heartburn on fast days, thinking it may be all the herbal tea... Anyone else have this?

Try to stay positive chocobunny, you still have a great weight loss. Sometimes it is better to ignore the scales and go with how you feel, which is slimmer! I did the DM 2 day diet last week and had chronic heartburn, I had eaten a lot of protein as instructed! Not been nearly as bad following this 5:2 diet but still kept the gaviscon close by.

Thanks, yes gaviscon is my new best friend. Can't be the protein with me as its only on fast days oddly.
Not been to bad today (eat day) had egg on brown toast for breakfast, went out for lunch with my son and had a wrap and fries, I don't feel guilty as its eating day, but really don't think I'll bother with dinner feel like I've had enough tbh.
and feel so tired when overdo the carbs since starting this, actually fell asleep for an hour on the sofa one night last week, unheard of for me but I was so tired. Just shows what effect it has on you, funny I never noticed it before, but this WOE really does help tune you in to your body doesn't it!
