First week
18 Jan 2013, 09:33
I am chuffed with a 4-lb weight loss after my first week on this plan. I thinking calling it fasting is a misnomer since I do still manage 3 small feeds on calorie restricting days. I am finding it very easy so far... fingers crossed that continues :D

Well done Anne.

I found it quite easy too - so did my husband. We thought it would be impossible, so that was a big surprise.

Yes, not strictly a 'fast' is it, when you get to eat meals! :D

Thanks Fast Jo - today has been a bit more difficult but not insurmountable. I blame the snow! :D

The cold makes it seem harder, doesn't it? Must be easier in Spring/Summer.

We weren't fasting today and went out for lunch. Couldn't finish it and felt SO full!

Don't feel hungry for dinner at all so won't have anything the urge takes me. Might have one glass of wine though! ;)

I suppose this is the settling in period? We haven't fully got used to new hunger levels and could stomach/appetite have shrunk already? Not sure but a substantial meal at lunch now seems like a mistake.

Meanwhile, here in Edinburgh we have finally started getting some snow, just in the last hour or so! My 9 yr old son has been asking me every day when it's coming. he'll be chuffed when he gets in soon!
