Thanks all! Yes, I do feel quite good about it. That's an unpleasant label to have. Now I just need to ditch the "obese" label. :-)

And it's congratulations from me too! And there's nothing wrong with being self congratulatory. It's important to acknowledge when things go right.
Plus it shows that this lifestyle is effective! Keep going :)

Thanks all! I've noticed that my walks around town are getting to be more pleasant. I'm only down 9 pounds, but I do feel like I have a bit more energy now. The hills no longer slow me down, and I'm parking at least 1/2 mile from the patisserie ;-)

Must be a great feeling to loose the "morbid", it sounds so ominous!!! Congratulations, you did it, and you can already feel the beneficial effects in your daily life! Soon you'll be skipping all the way to the patisserie ;-)

Well done, Tracie - it's a fantastic feeling, isn't it? I have done it too, and I was absolutely ecstatic. It's always annoyed me that I was in that category, and I am not going back there, ever.
