Delighted or Disappointed?

I went a bit of a different way about it today, I filled up on fluids (water and herbal tea) until I was super hungry and feeling a bit weak & I knew I had to pick the kids up from school, this was when I got home from work which was 2.20pm; I had two weetabix with some skimmed milk.

Then at 5.30pm I had tea with my family; a HUGE bowl (600g - 186 cals!) of Asda chosen by you Meditteranean style vegetable soup with a slice of wholemeal bread.

I have felt full of energy and really positive which has been nice as I have felt quite crappy and off colour for the past couple of weeks.

Just wanted to share this as it makes me feel more positive about 5:2 and not that it's always going to be horrible on fast days - as I sometimes preempt (because I'm daft!) :D

Plus I am super excited about a chunk of lemon drizzle cake that I have waiting for me for tomorrow - I need to get out more!!
That's great sophieh and there's nothing to be ashamed of getting excited about lemon drizzle cake! I had a plain scone today with strawberry jam and I thought it was the best scone I'd ever tasted in my life :)
Good to hear it's going well, Sophieh. And looking forward to, and really tasting and enjoying food so much more is one of the great side benefitss of this!
