TDEE - pleasantly surprised!
04 Mar 2013, 11:59
Hi everyone.

I've just worked out my TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) from a link elsewhere on this site. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised, as it said I can have 2194 calories to 'maintain' my weight. So in other words, on non-fast days thats how much I can eat!

I have been sticking to the 1800 calorie mark on non-fasting days, so this is good news! However, I have got around 12lb's to lose, so I think I will still try to keep my cals under 2000, and on fasting days I'll stick with 500 cals. But its nice to know that if I 'need' the extra cals I can have them ;-)

Here's the link http://thefitgirls.com/tdee-calculator.aspx
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately it confirmed I can't have more than 2000!! Too short and getting old!!
