It is reassuring to know that others are stuck...I have moved up and down by 3lbs over a period of 2 weeks or more..I just keep telling myself this is long term and not a quick fix and must remember the health benefits to stop me throwing the scales out of the window in frustration!!!

Well done, Chocobunny! Me too - I've just come down from a four-week plateau. Lost just a pound, but that's fine with me. As long as it's downwards! I knew my fast days were OK, but suspected I might be binging a bit on bread on the other days. So last week I was a bit more careful, which wasn't too difficult.
Good luck, everyone.

Good luck, everyone.

Did you do anything extra to get through the plateau? I've been stuck at the same weight for the last couple of weeks and it's getting to me :/
Hi Kayleighannegrace
Well, the first two weeks I just continued as before: sticking carefully to 500 calories on the fast days, and eating as I wanted the rest of the time. The third week I decided not to fast, in the hope that it might shake up my metabolism a bit. The fourth week I went back to fasting, but tried to watch what I ate on the other days. On the three weekdays left I tried to aim for 1500 calories (with the help of Marks & Spencer 'Delicious and Nutritious' range, which gives you a lot to chew on!); on the weekend I ate what I wanted, but tried not to binge on bread. On my weighday at the end of the fourth week I'd still not lost anything, but ... the next day I risked getting on the scales, and found I'd lost a clear pound.
So, stick to it! Everyone has plateaus (just look at the individual progress charts). I find it's a matter of holding my nerve - and that gets easier once you've come down off one plateau. Good luck!
