9lbs to target!
29 Mar 2013, 15:43
I was a little disheartend last week and maintained for the first time since starting this WOE 9 weeks ago. But I am very pleased to report I've lost another 2lbs this week and that has really spurred me on. People have been so kind and I've had loads of comments about my weightloss ( it also makes me realise everybody was far too polite to say ' Jesus! Claire's clapped on the weight hasn't she?!')
I've not been on the forum so much recently and can't believe how many members there are now!
It seems like everybody I speak to at the moment is either doing 5:2 or knows someone who is,
So there's a lot less negativity about ( although I do still get told its ridiculous/ I'm going to starve etc etc)

So I wish all the newcomers well, it really does work

Blimey, you've lost weight twice as fast as average, which means that you've lost double what I have in less time. Definitely don't be disheartened next time if you plateau, look at your waist size!

I maintained this week too but I lost 2lbs last week so it'll average out but well done you! :-)

Thank you!
Should have mentioned that most weeks I do version of 4:3 rather than 5:2. It was a strict 4:3 for the first month or so and now, on the 3rd day I fast all day but eat what I want for my evening meal ( which will be a chicken kebab with a few sly chips on the side tonight)
I do it this way so that I don't have to think about the calories too much on my normal days.

And I was doing ADF...just swapped to 4:3...so super impressed! :-)

Chips...mmm...that's an idea for tomorrow!
