Delighted or Disappointed?

I did it!! This is a big leap of faith. I have been paying for WW Online for several years now.... hoping it would inspire me to adhere to the program.... forever hopeful.
I am now confident that WW is not going to work for me, and 5:2 is the way to go. I have had more success with 5:2 in 6 weeks and (to me it) is such an easy/natural WOE that I really can see myself in it for the long haul. :like:
You go, girl! :like:

WW gave me a goal weight of 10.10 which I stuck to for many years. Thanks to this WOL I'm now 9.2 and have never felt fitter.

Long haul, indeed. I shall stay on this until I fall off my perch  - hopefully, not for a while yet!

Why don't you put the money you'll save aside and treat yourself to something nice, sometime?
Thanks Breadandwine.. I think I will do just that.. put my savings aside for something nice. Thanks for the support!!
I did exactly the same this week too! Liberating!

Looked at my WW progress and I'd been gaining and losing the same 2lbs since November. Now 5lb below that with ease :)
Well done Becky and Doodle - think of that money you'll save - I think that 'something nice' you're going to treat yourself to should be 'something' in the next size down  Congratulations - keep it up
That's brilliant. Fantastic. Definitely put the money aside. Just think of the new clothes you will be able to buy!! I did ww a couple of years ago & you end up in the mind set that if you exercise you can eat more. As a result I've gained almost a stone thinking it's alright to eat the calories earned training for a half marathon! Wish I'd found this plan before x
Well done Becky and Doodle! I rejoined WW online recently, and am in the three month free period, but I am going to cancel it before I have to pay anything. I've done WW before more than once with varying degrees of success, but I'm already finding 5:2 easier to stick to
Well done my dear, that's fantastic! Hopefully a lot more folks who have been losing money through these paid slimming schemes will find this topic and take the same leap of faith, 5:2 is so simple and all the better for being free :D

How nice to be saving up for a lovely treat too - if it was me it would probably be jewellery as I intend to get somewhat smaller yet - so no major wardrobe revamps for another 6 months or so!
Excellent, Becky good for you :-)
I have also done SW/WW and found myself gaining and losing the same couple of pounds for months and paying for the privilege!
I agree 5:2 is far more sustainable, welcome to a whole new WOL :-) xx
Thought I'd update - now 2lb below WW goal and aiming lower. Keep getting emails and real mail from WW asking me if I'd like to renew my membership! No thanks!! :)

I agree make sure to look after yourselves, and congratulation for taking that leap to trust in yourselves
Well done, isnt it a great feeling!! Lots of us have been on that treadmill, this WOE is SO much better and easier, and free!

How about treating yourself to a facial, or something else that pampering and rewarding, you desrve it
