I put on 1100g since yesterday!! There are so many variables to weight. Maybe I just had a little too much salt yesterday or I'm just retaining a little extra water or there's still something in my bowel or my periods are coming (which I doubt because I'm a man).

It's not for everyone, but I weigh daily, add all the dailies up at the end of the week and divide by seven for the average. That is my weight for the week. This once a week thing (although popularly advised) can be just as disappointing as seeing what I saw this morning, however, you can see the ups and downs on a daily basis and if you can deal with that and knowing your average will be down then it's a much better way...I think.

I can only imagine weighing in once this morning and seeing today's weight. After a week of being really good on both fast and feed days and then really having lost nothing. My average for the week though...that's way down.

Just my suggestion to avoid disappointment. Works for me.

That is great!

Good one!

This eat normally thing is a bit confusing, if like me eating normally looks like one of those horror tables off of Superfat versus superskinny!

It's taken a few weeks of tweaking this & tweaking that with my fast dieting. But thanks to this forum I've taken the advice and think I've finally found what works for me. Firstly I checked my TDEE like advised - realised I was eating far too many calories on my non fast days, 'only' by about 150 calories per day but that seemed to make the big difference a weight loss & a gain. Also, I've also realised that sometimes, I've mistaken a 'hunger pang' for a 'thirst pang' - not only on fast days, but on feed days too :)

Also I felt a little bit disheartened back a week or two with the lack of weight loss - so I watched Dr M's documentary again and that got me motivated once again reminding me that it's not just all about loosing weight! Ironically (or maybe not!) after drinking more, sticking to my TDEE and staying motivated........I've had a fab weight loss of 1.8kg this week - which is amazing for me!

Thanks for your comments Welshsupergirl. Your results has made me think I should do a check instead of relying on the 2000 calorie guideline.
