This morning I hopped on the scales and found that I had gone down again to 10st 7lb !!!! I am so happy to get to this weight haven't been this low for years. I have lost more weight on the 5:2 from Jan 29th to today than I ever did with the slog of WW over many years. If I got to goal with WW which I did several times I have to say, it would take make a good 6-7 months of 24/7 effort to lose about 2st. This time I have already lost 1st 3lb and feel fantastic and sooo positive about this sustainable do-able way of life. I did re calculate my TDEE about 3 weeks ago and found that on my fast day I should have been eating 400 not 500 calories and this has given me a lovely boost. Going to work today knowing that I can get in my work uniform dress bought for me by employer two years in a two sizes smaller than i needed at the time. Just hung in my wardrobe mocking me whilst everybody at work all looked the same in their uniform. I am so Happy everybody !!

Well done I've done WW and SW over the years, and I too have put it back on. Looks like we may have finally found our WOE
Long may it continue for you

Thanks everybody for your replies and support. I felt really tearful reading through them I must feel very emotional today. !!!
Congratulations! I too have been at 'target' so many times and I now feel that I have found a WOE which will stop the continual yo-yo dieting. You and I have lost similar amounts in almost the same time. How much more do you want to lose? I would settle for another seven pounds - I haven't been less than that for years but if I went any lower I think my wrinkles would have wrinkles!
Well done to you. Keep us posted on your progress or, now you have had such a good loss in such a short time, why don't you make your progress tracker public so that we can all see your chart?

Ooh, it warms the cockles of your heart, to read all these successes, so it does. Well done you, go strut your stuff in your little uniforms!
I too would like to lose another 7 lbs I did say that I would be happy at this weight ( 10 7 ) as I too was worried about getting more wrinkles and baggier under arms. Though now I have hit 10st 7lb another 7lbs is oh so achievable! Probably will keep going now as skin doesnt appear to be too bad. I will put my progress tracker on line as well .
Well done, excellent work. It's great encouragement for everyone reading stories like this
Congratulations and keep up the good work. I recalculated my TDEE after the monthly weigh in only to find my fast day calorie requirement is 400 cal, it feels so good to see the progress through the numbers (and the smaller clothes etc).
Enjoy the fruits of your success.

Wow well done! So good to hear on my first day of this diet a fast day hungry is an understatement!!!
Just the encouragement I needed this morning too as I start another fastday -- I'm only one week into the program so far. Congratulations on doing so well.
