Happy!
12 Apr 2013, 12:40
After 6 weeks on this 'plan', I've lost 11 lbs. I couldn't be happier! I'm not giving up the foods I love, and I'm losing weight! How awesome is that! I feel good and it's getting easier as it goes.

Claire....my typical non-fast day consists of normal coffee first off! That means with cream and sugar! Then when I get hungry I'll have poptarts or cereal, etc. On Saturday's we have big breakfasts. I don't really do lunch. I eat when I'm hungry. Cookies, crackers, fruit. Sometimes a sandwich. Just whatever I want! Then I'll fix a family dinner. Meat, potatoes, veggie. Or pasta and garlic bread. Stuff like that. But I find my portions are getting smaller than they were pre 5:2. I fill up faster. In the evening I'll have junk food if I want. A glass of wine. We go out to eat every weekend, and I get whatever I want. Don't usually clean my plate anymore, but I'm eating what I want. That's why I love this WOE!

Thanks Cindyls
Well my first day and first fast day of the diet has gone well, I just had a bag of salad and a ready meal. So that's its now till morning and I cant wait, think I am going to have scrambled egg!

We just been shopping and I have bought healthy things and no junk food but will have something naughty if I want, like my friend has baked cookies and I am seeing her tomorrow! I am scared of over indulging to be honest. Going to try and stick to around 1700 cals on non-fast day but don't want to become obsessed with calorie counting!

Claire you might be surprised at how much you DON'T want to eat on your feed days! My appetite decreased. Yes I still have days where I pig out a little bit, but I'm eating alot less than I used to. Good luck to you!

I'm on my third week and I will weigh tomorrow.... i was delighted with my second week weigh in, a loss of 7lbs and it was effortless. I must admit stir frys were the main part of it and I am now a bit fed up of that so I have switched to veg as the main part and soup. I found a Quorn cottage pie this morn at a little over 200cals so that will be my dinner along with some nice steamed veggies.
So pleased to have found this diet. Well done to all of you!!!!
