First Mini Target Reached
15 Apr 2013, 20:44
When I started this WOE 11 weeks ago I'd been saving up for a I pad. To give me an incentive I promised myself I wouldn't get one until I'd lost a stone. I reached the 14lbs target two weeks ago, now I've lost 15lbs & tonight I am the proud owner of a new I pad - my first I pad which I'm using to type this post so sorry for any mistakes. I don't know which is the most pleasing - the I pad or the weight loss -both I think. I feel like I've really achieved something & its been all the more exciting getting the I pad because I've had to wait & work at it.
Still have about 17lbs to go but it feels doable especially breaking it up into stages. Next mini target is 7 more lbs loss by my holiday in 10 weeks but won't be put off if I don't make it. It's just something to aim at. And no I won't be buying another I pad when I reach my next mini target - maybe some new clothes instead

Well Done - nothing wrong with rewarding yourself. Esp since it was not with food. I have broken my weight loss into smaller stages - it feels more achievable that way.

Keep up the good work. Roll on your holiday and anther great loss.

Congratulations - what a brilliant loss! Enjoy your I pad too! Your next target reward could be a seperate keyboard for it - makes typing much easier and, if you get the right type, will also act as a cover. I would be lost withought mine! Good luck for the next seven pounds!

Good on you! Well done.
I bought myself a pandora bracelet to celebrate my weight loss - the charms on it represent amounts of kilos lost
We need to celebrate our efforts I think.
Way to go!!

StowgateResident - like the idea of keyboard, may put that on wish list.

Marie2mil - pandora bracelet is a great idea - love that the charms represent the kilos lost.

Wow, well done on such a great weight loss, and enjoy your ipad. I can't use a laptop most of the time, so having an iPad is wonderful, all my messages are typed on mine

:victory: As we say in Scotland 'health to use it' and with the weight loss and hopefully health benefits of fasting you'll definitely have the health. And every time you lift your iPad, you can remember your achievement.
Nice one! :victory:
